Set your oven's rack on the middle level. Heat your broiler to low, and toast your naan, directly on the rack, for no more than 3 minutes per side. You don't want to bake it, just toast it until crisp. Remove it from the oven.
Scatter the crumbled chèvre over the surface of the naan. Leave a narrow border along the edge to prevent anything from falling off in the oven. Add the red onion, followed by the prosciutto. Finally, top with the sliced figs.
Broil on low, directly on the rack for 5-7 minutes, or until the bread starts to char.
Remove from the oven and top, immediately, with the arugula. Drizzle with a liberal amount of balsamic vinegar and enjoy!
