I was going to save this gift guide for Friday, but if you’re a woman, a guy is more than likely purchasing your gift. They need a bit more time to get things together, so this is arriving earlier than planned.
My gift list for women is practical. We don’t need another apron. We also don’t want another crude drawing (sorry kiddos). What we want is something that will relieve us of cleaning another pan, walking (even a short distance) to turn on our favorite wind-down song, or something that will make our chores easier. Practicality, I’ll say again.
These Amazon affiliate links make ordering easy and since Amazon has super powers, your gifts will probably arrive…now. Check out my disclosure page for details.
So, these are the 10 most wanted gifts for women.
KitchenAid 9-Speed Digital Hand Mixer
If I didn’t already have this KitchenAid hand mixer, it would definitely be on my personal 10 most wanted gifts list. Being able to beat eggs for pancakes or blend cream cheese for frosting, without having to wrestle with my stand mixer, comes in handy all too often. Women in the know want equipment that is easy to put away and a breeze to clean up.
This hand mixer comes in a wide variety of colors to fit her kitchen color scheme, too!
Large White Bread Box
I have this weird obsession with hiding my bread- don’t try to understand it. If I have store-bought bread on the counter, it irks me. I’m unsure if it’s because it’s a reminder that I haven’t made bread, or if it’s seeing the plastic bag that irritates me. I just ignore it and hide my bread in an old-school bread container because there’s no reasonable explanation. I love the streamline, modern look of this bread box, in particular. It, too, comes in your choice of colors!
Handheld Cordless Vacuum
I know that saying a vacuum cleaner is one of a woman’s 10 most wanted gifts may be asking for trouble, but she and I both know it’s true. Especially a handheld vacuum cleaner!
Picture it with me: she’s down in the kitchen after a hard day of work. She’s pouring rice into the pot because her husband insists that if she doesn’t feed him rice and beans soon he’ll lose all of his Puerto Rican credibility. Said rice for the “brat” slips out of her hand and spills on to the floor. Does she want to bother with getting out her full-size vacuum cleaner to clean it when she could, instead, curse him out without the distraction? No! She wants to grab this smaller powerhouse and take care of it so she can curse him and avoid a domestic disturbance.
I know women. And I know this is one of her 10 most wanted gifts, even if she doesn’t know it yet.
Cuisinart Food Processor
Do you remember the confession I made about my broke-down food processor? Long story short, I have to use a butter knife in order to operate it. I’ve been too cheap, too lazy, or a combination of both, to buy another one. But now, I have no excuse! Not only is this machine large enough- at 11 cups- for all of my recipes, it’s not janky like mine is!
The lady in your life will be so excited to have the multiple cutting blades and a quality product from a brand like Cuisinart.
Silpat Silicone Baking Mat
My Silpat non-stick silicone baking mat gets so much game-time in my kitchen that it’s more than paid for itself. I use it during the holidays, especially, to roll out sugar and gingerbread doughs. Rolling the doughs between the two non-stick surfaces means I don’t have to dry out my dough with additional flour. Besides the joy of baking it provides, Silpats are great for protecting your sheet pans from oils and non-stick cooking sprays. They clean up easily and store without taking up space. Definitely worthy to be on my 10 most wanted list. Be sure to pick up more than one so she can bake to her heart’s content.
Crock-Pot Slow Cooker
What can I say about my slow cooker? How about: I love it.
I have 6 slow cookers. I just broke my seventh, so I’m in the market for a new one. Seriously. I own six of these things. Some are used exclusive for a particular recipe. I don’t cook fruits (apple butters or fruit sauces) in the meat slow cooker, for example. The yogurt slow cooker is only for yogurt. As a result, 6 slow cookers are a must. Well, 7, but again…it broke.
This 6 qt version is great for pot roasts, chilis, or overnight oatmeals; basically, every dish your fave gal may need to set and forget while she’s working.
SharkNinja Blender
A blender that allows you to make and take shakes? Sign “er’body” up! No one can be mad at a gift that makes mornings easier. I love how easy this SharkNinja blender, with its Ninja cups, makes preparing my after-workout shakes. It’s bad enough I can barely drag my out-of-shape carcass to the fridge after the gym. But, with this godsend, I prep my shakes the night before and blend with my weakbody later.
After I’ve fooled myself into believing that I’m über-healthy, I use it’s 72 oz carafe to make a potent cocktail, like this coquito.
The Original Vacu Vin Wine Saver
If she’s a mom she needs wine. Not a mom? She still needs wine. Women in this world will always, always, al-way-ssssss need wine. Ya heard me?
Help her wine last- because you and I both know she ain’t gonna be able to finish a whole bottle in one sitting. Well…maybe if she has twins, she will. But, just in case she can’t, this wine saver vacuum pump, with its two bottle stoppers, will keep her wine tasting just-corked up to a week after opening.
This is one of her 10 most wanted gifts. I promise you, Boo-Boo.
Fire TV Cube hands-free with Alexa
“Alexa, play Adele.”
“Alexa, turn on the Real Housewives of New York.”
“Hey, Alexa, gimme a million dollars.”
Maybe that last request won’t compute, but what’s better than your gal being able to relax with a mere spoken command? I mean, we know that, more often than not, it doesn’t happen with her husband, kids, and definitely not with the cat- so why not have Alexa, at least?
Amazon Gift Card
Every woman I know uses Amazon for one thing or another. An Amazon gift card can be used for groceries to beauty products. Gift her the gift of choice and make her holidays happy.
Taste & See Cooks Cookbook
When in doubt, send her a copy of my cookbook Taste & See Cooks: Recipes to Inspire, Equip, and Enjoy. She’ll love receiving a personalized book and will laugh at the hilarious stories that accompany each of the 100 recipes.
So, what do you think of my 10 Most Wanted Gifts for Women? Did I hit the mark?

I love my hand mixer! I use it way more often than our stand mixer.
I do too, Shani! It’s so much easier to pull out and put away.
